Hiking in the UK
(Walking or Rambling)
Hiking in the UK - Adventure awaits you. Come walk the lanes and trails. With the proper supplies you can have an enjoyable time while communing with nature.
During time in the military and on vacations, our team members have discovered that there is a real world outside the USA. We know that while you are hiking in the UK you will find this amazing, but it is true. We are also aware that the way we phrase things may be found not quite right or offensive to some. For this we will apologize ahead of time. No offense is meant by what we say. We admire all cultures and all people of the world. Each culture is unique and we try to respect their way of doing things. Accept our apology if needed.
Every part of the world we have been in has shown us adventure,

beauty, excitement, and best of all - wonderful people to meet. As you start your travels in adventure, remember to take a camera along to show your family and friends what they missed!
Our goal is to provide assistance in finding the equipment needed so you too can have experiences like those we have had while you are hiking in the UK:
1) A young 16 year old Vietnamese girl defended a tent with a large wooden spoon against the 1st Sergeant's inspection because she was told not to let anyone in.
2) One of the most professional soldiers we ever met was a British Corporal on loan to the American Army in Germany for cross training.
3) An old man in Sydney, Australia who was barely able to walk took us 8 blocks out of his way to show us the address we were looking for.
Although hiking in the UK is not the same as a stroll through the Rocky Mountains, challenges still remain. While you are doing your hiking in the UK, water, food, clothing, weather, and such must still be taken into account.
While you are researching the paths that you will be hiking in the UK, take time to consider what you will want to take with you. One thing to consider is the distance to be traveled and your ability to carry weight. Long walks when you are hiking in the UK mean water and food! A small backpack may come in handy to carry water bottles and your food supply.
